Is there a way to make only a certain number of comments show?
it's stuck at 10. that's the length of the RSS feed that powers the last messages. until Blogger adds more comment support, it's stuck at 10.
god for some reason, when I did this, I got like 30 comments.

I really would like It to work on 3 to 5 comments.
That's a pretty good hack.
I get a nice round 10, but is there a way to display the title of the post that was commented on? I don't think displaying the time tag is particularly useful for those readers/commenters who are participating in a blog post discussion.
This is a great idea. I think it makes a site seem more active to provide links to recent comments like this. Do you worry about the comments filling with spam if the author's homepage is linked from the sidebar?
Is this why you require blogger IDs for comments?
